any mp3 player with large capacity that requires no software?
I'm tired of my iPod, well, iTunes, for the most part. I need a large capacity mp3 player that I can just plug into the USB port on any computer are recognized as a removable disk, and I can drag and drop or copy and paste mp3 files on it, and all other files that I bring with me. I know there are many smaller players capacity, as iShuffle, who can do it, but I'm looking for something which is 30 GB or more. I was interested in the Gigabeat Toshiba, but cannot find in all stores. Microsoft Zune player coming soon. Any ideas for me? Thank you in advance – much appreciated!
Well, I think you need to Search for all players are UMS, because they do not require special software. I did a quick search on Google mp3 players for UMS and found thousands of results. I found the iRiver H340 (40GB) and Touch Creative Zen (40GB). They are both pretty cheap. The Gigabeat Toshiba and Microsoft's Zune both need special software, if it would be un-did not go for you if you wanted a UMS device. Otherwise, you can download a different type of firmware for your iPod, you must use iTunes. Perhaps Rockbox iPod Linux or wrong?
